The phenomena of older people dating younger folks is growing more and more everyday, the people who had a problem with it are now beginning to come around. It is now common place to see couples together where the age difference is disproportionate. You may still get some bad looks if you are a man dating younger women, but on the flip side of the coin older women are dating younger men all the time. Let’s look at some of the reason why older people are in love with the idea of dating younger people. 

The reasons why: 

If you are a women you may feel like at your age the men your age no longer want you. You may feel like they want someone who is younger. This may lead you to look at other options as you feel the pool will be much bigger if you are willing to make an exception. Also younger men are more then willing to date older women. They often find them attractive and appealing because of their experience. 

It is not always about just sex, though it may play a role as older women often claim that older men cannot keep up with their increased sex drives. Younger men are able to benefit them because of their youth, their energy, and their libido. Older women benefit younger guys because they are usually more experienced and will not play as many games as a younger girl will. 

If you are a man you may not want to date women in your own age range because you feel like the baggage they come with just isn’t worth it. You may fear that the woman who doesn’t have any attachment like kids will be in a hurry to get married and tie you down with kids. You would rather date younger women who you feel is without all the baggage.  

The younger women may not be as experienced, but you still feel good to be with her. Men also need validation once they get older. Having a young girl on their arm makes them feel desirable and like they still have it. An older woman cannot make them feel that way no matter how well she treats they guy. So both men and women are feeding their insecurities by deciding to go younger.
